Lotus & Lily began back in 2020 with something simple — a collection of glass jars and a desire to create something meaningful. I had nearly a hundred jars saved over time (thanks to noticing a co-worker eating peaches from a pretty little one!), and I wanted to give them new life. While searching for ideas, I stumbled upon candle making — and from the very first pour, I was hooked. What started as a creative project quickly became something deeper — a way to slow down, find calm, and share that sense of peace with others. Each candle I make is meant to encourage self-care, positivity, and moments of stillness in your day. The name Lotus & Lily holds a special place in my heart. The lotus flower symbolizes growth, renewal, and rising beautifully from the mud — a reminder that light and peace can bloom even in challenging times. The lily represents love, devotion, and the nurturing spirit — a tribute to my mother and the warmth she brought into my life. Together, they represent where I come from — the lotus for the street I grew up on, and the lily for my mom — both shaping who I am and inspiring everything I create. Every candle is made with care, heart, and intention — to bring comfort, calm, and a little light into your home.
